Hi, I am Audrey-Anne. I am 17 years old and I live in Saint-Jérôme. I have been studying at 6 mouths ago in the program Childhood Education at the College of Saint-Jérôme. My glossary can help a lot of people who want to study in the same program at me. The glossary it's a good helper for the person who went to learn more about the Childhood Education. The 20 words in my glossary can help you a lot to start your career. Enjoy and have a good reading. PS: I don't use sources for my glossary. All the words is in my own words!

baby: It's a child between 0 and 18 months. The babies always need an educator close.; Example: My friend had a new baby last nigh.
baby bottle: It's the bottle where we put the milk for the baby. It's for the child who had difficulty drink alone.; Example: I give the baby bottle for lunch for all the babies in the nursery.
backyard: It's the place outside where the children play safely.; Example: The children play with a soccer ball in the backyard.
childhood: It's young people between 0-5 years old.; Example: The period of the childhood it's important for the parent and his children.
coloring: It's when you put colors on a draw, a painting or something else. In general the coloring was doing with a pen.; Example: You are good to coloring the sun with your pen.
creativity: It's when the educator or the child uses his imagination to play, to dance, to tell stories etc.; Example: I do an activity and the children in my group have a lot of creativity.
development: It's one of must important things of the child. It's the capacity to evolve in the good way.; Example: My children were ready to got at bath room alone in his development.
early Childhood Center: It's the place where the parents leash his child for the day.; Example: My children go in a new early Childhood center next week.
education: It's the action of help children to grow up the more correctly in the society.; Example: The education it's one of the important things in the world.
educator: It's the person who helping and take care of the children in the Childhood Center; Example: My girl had a favorite educator, his name is Clara.
ethics: It's a quality where the person have to have a good respect toward the people. Ex: the children of his group and his parents.; Example: The educator present ethics in front of the parent.
learn: It's the action of learn something to develop your capacity.; Example: Today we learn the number between 0-10.
local: This is where the group of children had his classes with his educator.; Example: In your local, a child put his food on the floor.
nursery: The nursery it's the place where the babies are situate in the Childhood Center.; Example: It's the first day for the babies in the nursery.
pictogram: It's a little picture who helping children to understand rules and explication.; Example: In the local, the children have to touch the pictogram that represents his behavioral.
planning: It's the action to prepare the activity for the week in the childhood center.; Example: In my planning this week I decided to do an activity about the animals.
preschool: It's the period before the kindergarten.; Example: It's the last day of preschool, next years you go in school.
rapport: It's the note that we take about children for all the day. This rapport it's for the parent to fellows the development of his child.; Example: I do the rapport for the child this morning, a child slide on the flor.
story: It's a book that an educator can read to his children in his group.; Example: Today, it's time to read the story Little riding hood.
toys: It's an object that the child likes to play with. You can have a lot of differences toys like cars, teddy bears etc.; Example: At the morning, a child play with a little toys.
